“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation!” ~ Audre Lorde

This workshop is built on the foundation that women of color have space to be together and breathe. We live in a society that demands we prove ourselves or quickly be denied. As such, we must cultivate community (sangha), we must make time to breathe, we must make space to be.

The workshop will include a sangha discussion on ways women of color have shaped and influenced your life. You will be led through an all-level yoga practice, meditation and guided relaxation which follows the gunas, doshas and season.  Please bring a journal and pen!

SeritaYoga is run by teacher and activist Serita Colette. This offering supports Queer, Gender -Queer, Trans + POCI. As such, this is a hate-free space to practice and be together!
